Rubber Mouth Tom Thumb Jointed Pelham Bit

This stainless steel bit has a hard rubber mouthpiece designed to be soft and gentle on horses with sensitive mouths. Pelhams add leverage on the poll and chin along with the usual pressure across the bars of the mouth. Shorter 4" cheeks are milder than a regular pelham, but provide more leverage than a snaffle.
